The partial solar eclipse hangs behind a statue of Our Lady, Star Of The Sea on Bull Wall in Dublin, on June 10, 2021. Skywatchers in the U.K. and Ireland saw a crescent sun instead of the “ring of fire” formed by the annular eclipse.

  1. Eclipse have always been extremely interesting to me. The fact that depending on where you are standing, watching the eclipse, you get different perspectives. Some people are directly in line and can see the ring of fire, while some people see a crescent sun. Any time I have watched the eclipse, I see the crescent sun, so one day I am determined to experience watching the eclipse and see the ring of fire.

  2. Eclipses are extremely powerful to our souls. They provide us with an awakening within our souls. It really shows how powerful the moon and the sun are. Especially in terms of providing us a reminder of what is happening above us and we can subconsciously mimic the balance between sun and moon; lightness and darkness. -Caitlyn Githens

  3. Eclipses have always given me chills to be honest, I don't really know how to react or respond when i see one or see images of one, it feels almost powerful and other worldly and really lets me see the beauty of the Earth and whats on it
