Watching this made me think of a quote by Alan Watts, which is “Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself...We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.” Really makes you think about what consciousness really even is.
Watching this made me think of Sigmund Freud and his concept of consciouses and the idea of an unconscious mind and how our thoughts, feelings, and memories are derived from outside of conscious awareness and it makes me realizes are we really perceiving things as accurately as we are or are we just believing what we want to see.
